We're taking the challenge, this is all we can do!
The options we have, are all fairly new.
Nano-science is one of the weapons
we have against cancer, we'll see what happens:

The goal is catching these cells, which flow in the blood
and hide behind the others, like a frog in the mud.
One of a million, this ratio is tricky,
CTCs are are so rare, this is the pity.

Circulating tumor cells, this is their name,
they cause cancer to spread, this is their blame.
Counting, extracting, these are the tasks,
for nano-science, this is the answer - for the question - you ask!

Antibodies are printed on a rectangular chip,
which gets a cap out of plastic: microfluidic!
This chamber's ceiling is quite unique
as a pumped fluid gets mixed with this technique.

This microfluidic chip becomes the clinical tool
that will be used by doctors to understand the rule
of the primary tumor with its CTCs.
That potentially invade lungs and kidneys.

The patient gives blood to check the number
of CTCs per mill by using this chamber.
Cells that are healthy do not interact
with the surface pattern as they are not tagged.

But CTCs are tagged with an anchor that matches
to the surface pattern that literally catches
CTCs from blood. Hence, the goal is attain:
the good ones gone through, the bad guys remain.

The physician concludes how the chemo is rendered.
Further data is obtained from their genes:
the physician will tell you what this info means.
